When did your baby stop using their baby gym?

You know- those playmats with the hanging shit over the top.

My 6 month old spends her time rolling off it and getting caught in the sides. I have tried to hang new and more interesting things but she doesn’t care. It’s the bane of my life as it gets caught in the roomba and is always tripped over, just for her to roll off it and smack her head on skirting board every time she uses it.

is it time to put it away?

what do they graduate to?

Yeah DD1 outgrew hers around 4 months when she started rolling, so I put it away.

Mine is the fisher price one that has the keyboard attached.

I've taken it out again for 3 month old DD2 and DD1 who's 20 months now likes playing with the keyboard, but not the dangling toys themselves.

I think once they were old enough to roll/crawl away from it.

I took the mat and poles part away at that point and just took the toys off and scattered them around the room so they could just play with the toys.

We had one of those nest things to help them sit up a bit more and play with toys and also a jumperoo.

With DD2 it was once she could sit independently I think - just before 6 months.

DD1 hated hers because she hated being put down.
