Christmas presents, what would you like vs what you'll probably actually get

Whats your dh/p like for buying presents? I'd really like those pandora heart shaped hoop earrings, but unless I send a screenshot, and explicitly say "I'd like these please" God knows what I'd get 😂

I don't want to do that, I want a surprise but I also want what I want, and not some random shite I don't want 🙃

Madness I know, and once when I sent a list of links, and said something off this list, he got me a few of them when he should have only got one.

He's not good at buying presents, it stresses him out and he can't decide what to get so I think I'll make it easy for him so we're all happy.

I would like a Sandman book, a lovely indoor plant and gin.

I'd like an eternity ring. We're not married but have been together for aaaaaaages. About time he bought me some bling.

I think I'm getting some new wheels for my car.

I want a swim watch. I'm getting the swim watch I want as I ordered it.

Equally DP ordered his own new shoes.

I want a ring. I have told him quite explicitly. I am not getting a ring. 😭
I don't know what I'll get. He is very hit and miss. One year he bought me in car dvd players for the kids. I see how it benefits me (keeps them quiet, we do some long journeys). But it isn't what one usually thinks of when it's their Christmas present! It was our first Christmas together too 🤣. Since then he has bought me other thoughtful gifts. My recent birthday he got me the perfect necklace and the perfume I wanted. I was very very pleased!

Send the link, ask him to wrap them. It’s nearly as good as a surprise and come January who cares about surprises? You’ll have the earrings you want.
