I am yet again, thanking my lucky stars for not taking up an exciting opportunity. Due to unforeseen circumstances, if I had taken this I would now be in a terrible situation.

Instead, I am smug in my bedroom drinking a hot coffee with a little squirt cream. The enjoyment is doubled by the knowledge that it could be very very much worse.

tell my your good decision. Not a journo daily Mail sucks cocks for rocks

Remortgaging and consolidating a ton of credit card debt at the same time, last year on a 2% mortgage. At the time it felt like a risky decision and we had to pay early exit fees but if we were still paying £600 in debt repayment, as opposed to the extra £200 we pay on the new mortgage, we would be right up the creek with the cost of living. As it is, we are just about managing. Plus, the mental pressure of having so much debt on credit cards had been relieved. Of course the debt is still there, but i don't lie awake worrying about my mortgage but i did about the credit cards.
