Disco songs for kids - help please!

I’m hosting a disco for a bunch of 7-8 year olds and I have no idea what songs are cool / popular for this age group? They’ll be a mixed number of boys and girls. I will be accessing all the music on YouTube.
Any ideas welcome please!

I might look at the playlists on Kidz Bop and then type the name of the songs into YouTube.. I just need to be careful of any inappropriate lyrics I guess!

Yes, but I’ll be sat in front of the computer cueing up the next song rather than just letting it play continuously.
Ed Sheeran is a good shout - most of the kids like his music

I used Spotify for this.....paid a few pounds fir the month.....no ads and made a playlist

Added some Katy Perry, Disney songs, spice girls, take that, random favourites from my family

Ask them about stuff they know from school.....ours knew a few from Just Dance which came out on wet play

Be prepared yourself to lead the dances.....some kids like to copy
