Claudia Winklemans fringe

I just couldn't.....it would annoy the living daylight out of me. Literally.

Watching the traitors, and to be fair, a lot of it is shot in dark/gloomy light. But I can't tell where her fringe ends and her eyeliner finishes!

Loving her outfits though. Like a tweed outfitters has thrown up on her.

Not the point of the thread but I'm really enjoying traitors and her outfits. I couldn't do her fringe but her hair hair is so shiny if my hair looked like that I'd be tossing my hair around like an 80s timotei model.

Well true, it's is super shiny and looks in lush condition. I'll swish it too.

She has amazing hair, but I also think that about her fringe every time I see her.

Agree her hair super shiny but that fringe is like someone put a bowl over her head and cut around it needs some feathering chopping into it and her 1970's pale lipstick is vile, she needs a make up change and needs to have dark brown eyeliner and to blend it in. The black far too harsh with the pale lipstick. I have a fringe and in between hairdressers I do it myself and do it good after years of getting it wrong and messing it up so chop into it but not going across or else would have the bowl head also.

Yeah the fringe looks like it would restrict vision and just be irritating. But she obviously has no such issues. It massively suits her as well, I love Claudia.

In any case she's said many times the fringe and the eyeliner are a disguise that gives her some anonynimity in her private life.

Oh I agree. I love her too. I never knew that about her fringe/eyes re privacy.

But surely such an distinct look is anything but anonymous!?

I love that long fringe look though - only a few people can pull it off. Chrissie Hynde is another.

vile has to be the most overused word on here. Anyone using it out of context should be fired from a cannon

I've read an interview previously and the comment about anonymity rings a bell.

I also recall something about wanting to be known for doing her job, rather than her appearance, so the fringe takes away from comments about forehead wrinkles, eye details etc.

She reminds me of Cathy McGowan from the 1960's (Ready Steady Go). Same style, hair, makeup. Pale lipstick was the fashion then.

I thought she said her vision isn’t very good so a long fringe makes no difference but I get her need for anonymity- I can imagine bumping into her and thing ‘she looks familiar…’!!!

She’s a beautiful woman but likes to pretend she is low maintenance with tales of always sleeping in her make up which is not true as she does take care of herself.

She is paid to advertise head and shoulders but her hair is actually maintained by George Northwood.
