So here I have 2 different opportunities, 1st one is offering me a basic salary of 51k and adding down allowances it comes around 60K and another one is offering me basic salary of 41K but adding the allowances it becomes the same.
I did ask the 2nd employer to increase my pay scale, but they refused and said that the altogether salary they offer is the limit.
Therefor I was wondering should I ask my 2nd employer that they may keep the salary package same, but they should increase my basic. As I believe that the increment in future will be on basic salary and not on the allowances. Am I correct or incorrect.? Please provide your expert opinion. **
