Hiya, any Vinted experts out there?? Sometimes I send stuff via Envri but I've just had an InPost label send to me, and it's telling me I don't even need to print the label, just pop it in the locker. Is that right?! Feels so wrong to put a blank
package with no name or address or barcode, in the locker!

Thank you. (Pic of the message I got attached)

YeS that’s right, you scan your phone

FranklyBoyle · 08/12/2022 20:56

Yes that’s right! I felt the same way but that is correct. I’ve done it a few times now.

Donut93 · 08/12/2022 20:56

Yeah just scan the QR code, it will open a locker door and then it's done! It's brilliant saves the hassle of printing the label

mrsmacmc · 08/12/2022 21:13

Yup that's right freaked me right out the first time I did it! So much easier than doing EVRI

bookworm1982 · 08/12/2022 21:15

Blimey. Still not convinced but I'll give it a go! Thanks all

Yep. It felt so odd the first time I did it but the parcel made it to its destination! So much easier not having to print.

bakewellbride · 08/12/2022 21:17

What everyone else said. Felt so weird doing it but it worked!

bookworm1982 · 09/12/2022 10:25

There is this though that they provided, do I not even attach this? Still can't get my head around this!

@bookworm1982 You'll need that QR code to scan on the machine at the lockers. It will then open one of the doors and you put the parcel inside and shut the door then email yourself a receipt. Its definitely the way forward!

So it doesn't get printed out and stuck on the parcel?

No, no need to print the QR code, just scan it at the machine.

Rosecoffeecup · 09/12/2022 13:16

Anyone know how they get handled once collected? I assume the inpost person must print a label upon opening each locker? Seems rife for confusion but obviously works - I've done it a few times

LutherRalph1 · 09/12/2022 13:19

I was the same the first time, it seems like it shouldn't work but it does!

ScoobyDoNot · 09/12/2022 13:32

The courier collecting the parcel will attach an address label to the parcel when they pick it up.
It's so much easier than queuing at the post office or trusting Evri with your parcels!!

spare123 · 09/12/2022 13:32

Lots of complaints on here about things done that way going missing
