Can't get kids protected with vax as constantly unwell

After cancelling four former appointments due to illness, I have an appt to get my 2yo and 5yo the flu vaccine tomorrow (5yo outright refused it at school).

So, tonight? Yes, the 2yo appears to have another fever.

ARGGHH. This is driving me absolutely wild.

Can you take the 5 year old if they are well tomorrow?

Or can’t you get someone to watch your 2 year old? If you do need to cancel, maybe try and rebook at a time when your partner could watch one child if one happens to be poorly. It’s frustrating isn’t it.

My dc are so behind with vaccinations. My 4 year old by 28 m for pre school vaccines and my 2.5 year old hasn’t had any 2 year vaccinations yet. Every time I book they are unwell

Yes I'm going to take the 5yo. Will need to take 2yo with me anyway as DH is working a late shift and don't have anyone else to watch her, so can ask the nurse and also possibly rebook another appt for next week there and then.
But bloody annoying. I find the health admin stuff exhausting.

18 not 28!

@mushroomsIncoffee 2yo is due her second MMR too (we are in an area with an acceleration programme) and can't do that til after flu and flu is the priority due to the second. Such a frustrating juggle.

It’s so hard isn’t it the amount of times I’ve rebooked the vaccination appts is ridiculous!
