What does the career progression look like in EY?

I am going to be an analyst in September 2023. I am joining the turnaround and restructuring line. What is the career progression like?
When will I become an associate?

Will you be doing your ACA? If so it’s usually a 3 year training contact and then promotion once you qualify.

Career progression is usually excellent in client facing roles at all the Big4 to be honest, although gets more difficult after senior manager.

So upon finishing my ACA, I will become associate?

In my experience, analyst and associate are the same grade, just different terms in different service lines

Ok thanks. So what will I be promoted to after analyst? Manager? Director?
Are there any websites that tell me this? Shall I try asking some EY people on LinkedIn or is that too weird since I do not know them?

Yes you usually get promoted once qualified having completed your three years. It varies more after that depending on firm/service line/performance but most people then usually spend 1.5-3 years at say senior associate before getting promoted to manager.

I'd get in touch with the recruitment team. They can go through this with you. They'll know much more about the specific pathway you're on. But yes, usually once you've qualified you'll get promoted to senior associate.
