Have I ordered enough pizza?

Am panicking.

I have ordered 2 X Extra Large and 1 X Large from Dominos.

17 children aged 10. Only 15 minutes to eat. Not their main meal. Just a fun swim and a pizza sort of thing.

But the OP is only talking about a quick snack, not a full meal.

Surely a slice or two from a large pizza is plenty for that? Perhaps offer some crisps as well?

The trouble is when you are 10 years old and you've been swimming and messing about with 16 other kids you're probably going to be pretty hungry even if it's not an actual meal time.

NoelNoNoel · 08/12/2022 11:46

What time are they eating the pizza?

As long as she’s made it clear to the 17 children and their parents though that they’re only getting a small snack. I can’t be the only person to schedule my child’s daily eating plans around a party if they’ve got one on the day. It’s a bonus for me if I’ve got out of providing lunch or dinner because they’ve had a pizza or whatever with their party friends. Like pp have said, people come out starving after swimming. If my child was invited to a pool and pizza party I’d expect them to be suitably fed, not come home still starving after being given a single slice of pizza and have to immediately make more food.

NameIsBryceQuinlan · 08/12/2022 12:24

Wouldn't they eat 2-3 slices each?

So how many slices on the ones you've ordered?

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 08/12/2022 12:26

Doesn't sound a lot to me for that number of DC.

purplecorkheart · 08/12/2022 12:32

I think you need a couple more xl to be honest. At that age group can eat a huge amount especially something like pizza.

FallingsHowIFeel · 08/12/2022 12:33

I’d say you need to almost double it.

NYNYNYNYNYNYNYNYNYNYNYNYN · 08/12/2022 12:33

You need more, at least 2 more pizza's

You don't want to be the parent who hasn't supplied enough food

DemBonesDemBones · 08/12/2022 12:51

Absolutely not enough, no.

TurtleTriplets · 08/12/2022 12:56

I would easily eat 3 slices of pizza and my kids can eat more than me. I agree you need more.

Legdaysucks · 08/12/2022 13:03

I took a group of 9 year old boys to pizza hut buffet for "all you can eat" buffet... One of the managed 10 slices of pizza 🤦 the rest weren't far behind!!!! They took it as a challenge...

Notanotherone6 · 08/12/2022 13:19

I can eat a large to myself. My 12 year old will have about 3 slices. I'd add another couple of XL ones to your order.

gogohmm · 08/12/2022 13:26

We had 3 for 4 people Blush.

Kids vary a lot in appetite though

TinfoilTwat · 08/12/2022 18:40

Thanks all. Will add a couple more to the order.
