A Shade Greener Solar Panels

We have solar panels installed by A Shade Greener. They rent the airspace above our roof for 25 years. They get the FIT tariff, and we benefit from free electricity if we run appliances when it’s sunny/bright.
We have had some issues recently that we are trying to resolve with the Company, so I joined an online complaints group to see what other complaints were about. I’ve read lots of stories about people struggling to sell their houses. We have been thinking about moving if things settle down in terms of interest rates. I’m now worried we might struggle to sell or end up having to drop the house price because of the panels.

Has anyone had problems selling their home with panels on this type of contract? Have you pulled out of a sale because of solar panels tied to this type of contract?

TIA

I read an article in the Sunday times recently about the number of mortgage companies that now won’t lend to houses with this sort of arrangement - will see if I can find it but it was quite a gloomy piece, not great for anyone who has signed up to this

I have just bought and had installed solar panels, own outright. I think you may be buy back the panels from the owner.

@user1471505356 unfortunately, there is no such clause in our contract.🙁

@tenbob please post the link if you find it. It doesn’t sound like a very positive article. 😢
