Please help me work out what this pain is. I'm reasonably fat, around a size 18-20, I'm a pear shape so although I don't have a slim tummy I don't hold my weight around my middle. Don't know why this bit is relevant but anyway...
For a couple of days I've had this pain, it's sort of on the right side of my abdomen, about 4cm ish above where my belly button is.
It sort of feels like I've poked myself with something sharp there, it's tender and if I bend over it's quite a sharp ouchy pain. It's definitely not the kind of pain that feels like it's coming from my intestine or stomach, it feels really close to the surface, like it's just under my skin. But there is absolutely nothing to see or feel, there isn't any swelling or lump or spot. It doesn't feel like a pulled muscle, although turning over in bed last night sort of aggravated it, and same if I get up from the sofa.
It's just such an unusual pain I've never felt anything like it.
I don't have any other abdominal symptoms like constipation or indigestion.
Any ideas? It's just so weird...
