Wine and cheese: can’t be bothered with the cheese now

At the supermarket tonight, decided to have a cool, chilled white wine with warm, freshly baked crusty bread and cheese for dinner. I practically salivated all the way home thinking about it.
Stopped the car outside my front door to unload my haul. Put the wine in the fridge to chill, cheese on the kitchen table (room temperature cheese is best), bread rolls in the oven. Went to park the car (no parking allowed outside the house so park around the corner).
Stupid car won’t start! Spent 15 minutes fiddling with it! Had to take bread out of oven so it won’t burn! Finally sort out car just to be told by dc that the dog hasn’t been walked (dc candy possibly walk dog as has homework to do!!)
So got back from parking car (fingers crossed nothing seriously wrong so that it starts tomorrow). Freezing cold from walking dog (forgot gloves, phone ran out of power half way through walk so no podcasts)
Poured a glass of wine and now I cannot be bothered with the cheese (and cold hard bread rolls)
Just going to enjoy the wine.

Thought anyone or should this be an AIBU!?

Have a glass of wine, then have some bread and cheese to soak up the second glass of wine.

Gah! Keep the cheese for tomorrow. That wine will make everything better

Leave the cheese out overnight and have it tomorrow.

Can you tell me more about your cheese please? I hope it's filthy and unpasteurised - not because I'm a weirdo, because I'm pregnant and want to live vicariously.

@Davros the wine is helping. It’s a lovely white Bordeaux

@roarfeckingroarr goats cheese, rich and creamy blue, mature cheddar and a hard cheddar that a friend bought me from harrods. Anything I’ve missed?

@Whatevergetsyouthroughthenight I passed the second glass a little while ago.
I am drinking out of a tiny glass though!
