Cheapest place to buy lego

I know two lovely twin boys who are not due to get a lot this Christmas due to COL. I am currently not on an income but I would love to make their Christmas.

They are eight years old. I know they love lego, Pokemon, and Harry Potter.

Do you know anywhere that currently has an offer on lego?

My budget would be £20 including postage.

Second hand from FB Marketplace. Bargains galore. There's nowhere cheap to buy new Lego.

will I look cheap buying second hand?

Every year my DS writes a Lego list.... every year I show him how far he will get new ... and how much he'd get if he was happy with second hand - he always chooses second hand. FB marketplace, eBay etc. you can get the instructions all online so don't worry if they are missing.

If you don’t want to get second hand, just look on Amazon. Some are cheaper than others, compared to normal I mean.

What a lovely thing to do.

I have a Lego fanatic son so am too familiar with the prices!!! There are some good deals on Amazon, I got a good reduction on a set from Argos recently, and Tesco and Asda are also worth a look.

FWIW I think Lego Creator 3-in-1 sets are great value for money as you can build three different items from the one set. I bought two different 3-in-1 sets as gifts from Amazon a week or so ago and the combined cost was just under £20 (although I have Amazon Prime so there was no extra postage cost).

Nothing wrong with second hand Lego in principle. I've bought some from Ebay in the past, but the sets may not come in boxes if they are pre-used so that is something to watch out for.

Wilko own brand "blox" is pretty good and perfect for a budget. It's compatible with normal Lego.

Or vinted? I've got my DC some from vinted but it's been used so not in the original bags but they won't mind!

B+M have currently got loads of sets reduced.

Also The Entertainer and Argos both had some sets reduced (selected sets 20% off I think).
Amazon by the way have recently been charging more than RRP for some Lego sets so watch out.
