Issues with post

Hi all, I know there have been postal strikes etc, but just wondering if anyone else is having issues with post at the moment? A friend posted something to me on 30th November and I've still not received it. As it was only a standard post there is no way for me to track it. Just wanted to know if I should keep my fingers crossed or forget it!

Yes the strikes are affecting time taken.

Yes, my parents sent something last week that hasn't arrived yet. One letter I got this morning was dated 21st November 😐

Ah, thought this may be the case - all the junk mail seems to have made it through though 🙄. Guess I will just have to wait in hope!

Yes I'm still waiting on an M&S voucher I ordered on the 30th November

Yeah, I bought 7 or 8 things from various Etsy sellers on 19th Nov. All with 1st class delivery and I’ve only received 3 so far!

Genuinely, my bills and junk have still arrived as normal, seems only the birthday cards and presents (vouchers etc) haven't. Starting to wonder if there's light fingers at the post office...

I know what you mean Apple - funny how the extremely boring and easily identified as such post has got through, but everything else hasn't! Guess it's all too easy to blame 'lost in post' when there have been strikes!

Had a Christmas card that was sent four days ago today so not too bad. The strikes will inevitably affect post though.

They do tend to hire a lot of temps for the Christmas period so it’s possible.
