Neither and I think the JL ones are over priced..
Have you checked out homesense/homesense/Wilko
.

Boooooot · 06/12/2022 19:00

I like the John Lewis on es

yoyy · 06/12/2022 19:03

I prefer the gold ones. Not very helpful so far are we 😁

yoyy · 06/12/2022 19:04

but different colour wars?

yoyy · 06/12/2022 19:04

ways?

OtterInABox · 06/12/2022 19:05

Does the 20% saving on the JL set take into account that one appears to be missing from the box? 😀

JL ones all day long. I also don't think they're overpriced for the look of them. If 'blush' is your thing then go for those over the Amazon ones

Tangerineartichoke · 06/12/2022 19:28

I hate the blush ones. Its not a very festive colour. They are just fashionable now. I can imagine a whole aisle of blush decorations in b&m. They will date quickly, just like teal did. I go for baubles that are timeless the gold ones will still look good in 10 years time.

OnTheRunWithMannyMontana · 06/12/2022 19:28

John Lewis ones definitely

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 06/12/2022 19:30

@Tangerineartichoke
Has teal dated? Oh well, had them 20 years, not going to worry now.
Having said that my tree is only vaguely coordinated with years of other various bits having been added.

Tangerineartichoke · 06/12/2022 19:41

@TheWomanTheyCallJayne I think if it just the 'in' colour it dates.Style over substance shall we say. My Dsis themes her tree like that. There is nothing personal on it. If it is a tree thats all different with things, that have been added over the years. Each special to you then that does not date.

Mybrotherssistersmothersdaughter · 06/12/2022 19:42

The John Lewis ones are more elegant, however I do like the WeRChristmas ones and you could add to the theme quite easily being a classic gold colour....

On reflection I think the WeRChristmas ones are better for Christmas. But I like traditional Christmas trees!

Bluevelvetcake4 · 06/12/2022 19:45

Yes, I also think the John Lewis ones look elegant but the WeRChristmas ones seem more festive. Can’t decide which ‘look’ to go for!

OP posts:
hennaoj · 06/12/2022 20:01

John lewis. I like the copper WeRChristmas ones too.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 06/12/2022 20:05

@Tangerineartichoke

I was being pretty tongue in cheek. It just amused me that for a while I must have been ahead of the curve

Op
i wouldn’t get either but out of the two go gold. As has been said, gold is timeless for Christmas. Plus it works with other colours better.

Godsavetheking2022 · 06/12/2022 20:31

First ones. The others look too dull to be festive

TheNoodlesIncident · 06/12/2022 20:38

The gold ones, as red, green and gold are classic Christmas colours. It will be much easier to co-ordinate with ornaments that have some red and gold, some green and gold, some cream and gold.

If I was starting from scratch I would buy a selection like this to build on. You could of course go for other colour schemes but the classic seems more versatile to me.

BobbyBobbyBobby · 06/12/2022 20:43

I prefer the gold ones. The pinky colour ones don’t look very Christmassy to me.

TheTeddyBears · 06/12/2022 21:45

John Lewis ones are nice but a bit pricey. You could probably get much nicer ones from the range for same price or a little less/more depending on if they all individual or including some in a pack.

whumpthereitis · 06/12/2022 21:56

I like the John Lewis ones. Maybe check out Nkuku as well, they have some great ones.

Y7drama · 06/12/2022 22:01

I like the gold ones.

allboysherebutme · 06/12/2022 22:31

I like the John Lewis ones. I have the same ones in white and silver. X

EspeciallyD · 06/12/2022 22:37

Of the two I’d go gold, but really you need some other colour on the tree too, maybe red tinsel.

Highlyflavouredgravy · 06/12/2022 22:39

Too wishy washy and not Christmassy

DramaAlpaca · 06/12/2022 22:43

Whichever you like best, of course.

Your tree, your rules.
