Does anyone else have this god awful head cold with raging headaches?

The headaches are crippling, paracetamol and ibuprofen are barely touching it. It's on my forehead above my eye, I have forehead stick but it's not doing anything. Any tips?? I'm on day 10 of this cold and it's getting worse

Day 5 for me. Endless headache and a very sore throat, slight runny nose and a slight cough. It's not getting any better and it's not getting any worse. It's the first time I've had a virus for 3 years so I've been very lucky. Paracetamol is helping, but not much. I hope you feel better soon OP.

They are about 8 or 9 pounds but you get a big pack.
Nurofen and codeine tablets from the pharmacy (most supermarkets but you have to ask at the counter)
Helped my headache a lot (and dd s bloody wisdom tooth pain while she's waiting to get them removed).
Ginger tea for the cough or philcodeine linctus (again at pharmacy counter).
4 million boxes of tissues unfortunately.
Just getting rid of mine after 3 weeks.

I think rest and sleep are probably great as ds had it and took a day in bed and recovered more quickly....but I m in the thick of Autumn Term secondary school exam stuff and general chaos so had to go to work.
