I have been trying in vain to remove yellow stains (I believe tumeric) caused by a sauce from a restaurant from two items of clothing - one navy and one bright purple. They have both been through the wash already, but only on 30 degrees. I have tried hydrogen peroxide, fairy liquid, lemon juice and baking soda. I know that sunlight works really well to remove stains but in November in England there is no sunshine and I'm not sure the UV rays will be powerful enough to remove the stain.
Does anyone know of anything that might work? I'm currently wondering if a UV torch might do something 😂
