For those of you who have watched it already, is it suitable for a 9/10 year old?

My dc want to watch it as it's been talked about a lot at school.

We watched the first episode with our nearly 11yo and he decided it was too scary and he didn't want to watch any more. He can be quite sensitive though

My ten year olds are watching it with no problems. They normally get scared easily.

It depends on how easily they get scared. There are some bloody scenes, monster attacks, and a generally dark and menacing atmosphere, as you would expect. It's not on the level of a horror film but would be quite scary for a sensitive child.

My 11 yo enjoyed it even though she was a bit scared in places, but she's mature enough to handle it. However I know that just a year ago it would have been too much for her
