I have only heard about the rise in cases within the last few days - why has this just come out of nowhere?

Surely this won’t be another March 2020 covid like situation?

I don’t mean the virus has come out of nowhere, I know it has been around for years and years. I just mean the rise in cases and the current situation seems to have come out of nowhere.

It's bacterial.

this stuff always ebbs and flows but I guess the press are in overdrive.

i remember a big rise in whooping cough a few years back but media wan't so crazy back then.

scare mongering from the press. NHS rightly so about to strike so it will also be to do with that, to make them look bad so theres no public support for them. Unfortunately like most other nasties it has and will always be around
