Do you approve?
Thinking of doing an Xmas bulk shop.
Is it false economy?

If you do like them any recommendations?

I used Iceland for 3 years and recently had to stop as the service became awful. It probably varies from store to store but just be wary - maybe see if you know anyone that gets deliveries from your local store and ask them. They have great food products but sadly had loads of missing items/ items that went out of date very quickly as well as having my delivery slots moved regularly without telling me and sometimes pushed back for days! Sorry I can’t be more positive but I’d hate to see more people who are relying on them let down!

I've been using them for nearly two years, and they've always been brilliant! They've changed their short date items policy recently and if they have something in stock that's close to the use by date, they give it to you for free. A few times they've not had things in stock and have given me a £5 voucher as an apology, without me even saying anything. I can always get the delivery slot I want too.

I think it probably very much does depend on the manager of your local shop, but I love them. They also have all sorts of weird retro crisps & biscuits that I assumed had vanished in the 1980s, which makes me happy. Their hash brown bites are my most recent discovery, and they are GORGEOUS (and I don't normally like hash browns). DD loves them for their bags of frozen pomegranate seeds, DS demands I buy their Applewood cheese. Their own brand stuff is really good value, and nowhere near as grim as the infamous prawn ring would suggest.
