It means flip over the food item so that the underside is then uppermost.

it was a frozen meal and I don’t know if it’s done now as I’ve meddled so much with the settings. It’s piping hot will that be ok?

My microwave actually doesn’t spin and it says turn. So you turn the food

Are you sure it's a microwave and not a convection oven? Also, how have you never used one before - I'm so intrigued?!
