Need a new foundation but can't get to the shops

I usually use a warm beige No7. The colour is perfect but it's not a great foundation

How the hell do I colour match properly online? There must be a trick!

I just wouldn’t waste your money.

Colour matching online has never worked for me.

Defiantlynot41 · 05/12/2022 12:54

Have a look at findation findation.com/ which is good for matching in a different brand if you know a brand/colour combo that works for you already.

Or Il Makiage offer a money back guarantee www.ilmakiage.com/uk/shop/ and has great reviews

Have you tried ALL the No7 foundations? The colours are the same but there are loads of different formulations.

Findation as a PP recommends might give you some good pointers, especially if you have an idea of what you want but just need help choosing the shade, but I still wouldn't want to buy without trying; I can hardly tell with confidence in person tbh.

With Avon you can order sample packs.

Workyticket · 05/12/2022 14:07

I've never heard of Findation thanks @Defiantlynot41 so I'll have a look there!

No, I've not tried all of the No7 foundations @Rayna37 but when I was on Boots earlier the reviews are a bit rubbish for most of them :(

Have a look at Sephora’s Try Me service.
Basically, you buy a bottle of foundation and they send you a sample alongside the full sized product. If you don’t like the sample, you can return the unopened full size one for a full refund.
