I love playing games - card games (although I can't play Bridge) & board games. I've never played a computer game or any of the modern games that involve escape rooms, or Dungeons & Dragons etc, but I'd like to learn how.
DH hates playing games. It's not something they did in his family and it's not something he's every wanted to start. We have no children that I can play with so I never get to do something that I really enjoy. It makes me quite sad that I'm seeing all these games for sale as Christmas presents and I'm not going to take part in any of them. On Saturday I babysat for a 3 year old and played Snakes & Ladders. How daft is that - a 62 year old (me) getting my game playing pleasure from playing with a 3 year old?
How can I get to do more of what I find pleasurable? (Besides playing with 3 year olds, lol)
