Confused with scout uniform sizing!

Can anybody help? Im probably being stupid but I have no idea which size to buy, it doesn’t seem to match up to other shops sizing

DS wears age 11/12 in normal shops. There are no stores locally that sell scout stuff sadly so can’t go and look.

They are impossible! Was he a Cub? The jumpers follow a similar size pattern so buy a couple of sizes bigger than that to accommodate a 13yo...As a size 16/18 woman I have XL in scout (unisex) sizing.

(We had terrible trouble getting DD a shirt small enough... )

Also your scout group may have shirts to try on... we sell second hand ones but some people just try for size

I would go big (can always tell new Scouts in their oversized shirt!). It has to last 4 years unless you are happy resewing all the badges on to a new shirt
