So I’m telling you lot on here!

Just found an engagement ring in DP’s office (was looking for something else, not snooping)

We’ve been together 8 years and I didn’t think he was that interested in getting married so this is exciting!

Let’s just hope it is actually for me…. Lol 😆
(I’ll make the joke before anyone else does)

Is this what you want to happen? If so, I hope he doesn't make you wait too long. My DH couldn't wait until midnight on Xmas eve, as was his plan. Did it at about 9 pm if I remember correctly.

Oh yes, absolutely! Not fussed about having a big wedding but would love to be married.

Ooh exciting! I found a ring receipt (daft man asked me to look for a parking ticket in his wallet, if I didn’t know better I’d say he wanted me to find it 😂)

I told no one and completely put it out of my mind (as best I could) and it was still a total surprise when a couple of months later he popped the question. To the extent on the day I told him off because I said he was being all weird and monosyllabic while we were doing something memorable - it didn’t even occur to me he was quiet because he was nervous and about to propose!

My engagement ring was in a Xmas cracker …my (now) husband had to make sure my sister didn’t pick it up try and pull it with him 😆

This is what I’m trying to do which is why I only said on here to get it out of my system!

Now I will try to put it to the back of my mind and forget about it

Not any of my friends but one of his friends got engaged and we’ve just been at a wedding of another friend of his… maybe I have them to thank lol
