I’m going to the spa - went last week when the last england match was on and it was blissfully empty!
What are you planning on doing if you don’t enjoy football?

dh has just presented himself and ds with england tops to wear while they watch the telly 🤦‍♀️
All such a nonsense as far as I’m concerned.
I do agree with a pp though, it’s been far less intrusive in the winter, less large garden gatherings for a start!

I've been feeling a bit ropey this weekend, and have to get up at 4 am tomorrow, so I'm in bed with a hot water bottle, a cat and my Kindle (and a bit of Mumsnet, of course).

What I normally do. Nothing special. Football is a complete irrelevance in this house.

I don't even know who is playing or when but if it's on tonight, I'm watching Wednesday. I don't watch any television usually and am feeling antsy having to sit still. I want to get up and change the beds but DH and DS were desperate to watch it together.

Nobody here likes football.

I've just come upstairs and got into bed, leaving DH to enjoy it on his own. I don't think I can be bothered to watch any tv, so will trawl MN for a while, maybe do the crossword, and read my book in peace.

Watching Christmas at Liberty over the top of the laptop while I compose a shirty email to the management company of the flat, then Anything Goes on BBC4.

Bit of work to get ahead for tomorrow and online shopping for Christmas.

DH is on the PlayStation, I'm flitting between MN & games on my tablet, DS is with his friends.

Just washed up after dinner.

DH is watching the football in the front room, I'm debating going for an early shower and then MN-ing in bed because I'm not really interested.
