Do you know this book?

DC very fond of this book when at a friend.of a friend's party, when I've asked them the name of it they have no idea/ think it may have been another childs.

Only have this photo from the book to go on... Any ideas??

We have monkey puzzle and it's not that as the drawings don't look the same (although granted we have the board book and not the older version)

I don't think so... Face looks different (I've never spent so much time googling monkey books and studying the images!!) 🙈

Did you read it with your DC? Is the monkey just a character in the story/part of that particular illustration or central to the story?

The trouble is that if you Google ‘monkey picture books’ you won’t get the same results as ‘jungle picture books’ (which would have monkeys in them) etc.

Do you have any more clues about the book to go on?

I wasn't reading it with them, they were at a party and were playing with other kids reading it. DC is suspected ASD (currently going through testing) so really would love to get this from Santa as it's so rare for them to take a shine to new toys/ books.

A bit of a break through... Found another photo of said book in other pics friend posted on FB.

So it looks like more of a jungle book... I've been googling loads!! Can't find it, but the pictures look quite distinctive so hoping someone recognises it.

I could ask, it's a little awkward as it wasn't DC who was directly invited. They went with their cousins when staying at d-sils, so not someone that I know to message.

I might try the library this week and have a look at some of the kids books, and if no luck with that ask dsil to ask party giver.
