What ring size is he???

Want to get DH a token ring to put in his cracker and have completely failed to stealth size his finger in his sleep so am going to have to have an educated guess.....

Lol thought this may be about something else

I bit of ribbon tucked under your pillow and see if you can do it while he's snoring?

FettleOfKish · 03/12/2022 23:06

DH has very big (but reasonably slender) hands and his wedding ring is a W.

My Grandad had big hands fingers like sausage rolls and his signet ring worn on his ring finger was a Z++ that he had specially made Blush

He's going up to bed now so I may be able to stay awake long enough - he's also had a fair few wines and I haven't so I stand a good chance I reckon Grin

Exh had to have a W size wedding ring, ds has exactly the same shape hands & feet they were the first thing I noticed when he was born though he already has bigger feet at 18 & potentially could still grow some more.

ChessieDarling · 04/12/2022 00:03

My husbands got big hands (he’s overall a big bloke, 6’5, ex rugby player, hands like shovels, the sort you’re looking for?? 😂 ) and his wedding ring is an X.

CourtneeLuv · 04/12/2022 00:05

X for mine as well.

Itsbeenashortyear · 04/12/2022 00:08

Dp was just over Z I think it might have been Z 1/2 or Z1 or something like that. I had to take an existing ring round shops and have it ordered specially.

WithASpider · 04/12/2022 00:10

DH has massive hands - he's a Z+ on his ring finger.

AdoraBell · 04/12/2022 00:10

No idea, sorry, DH’s wedding ring
looks a curtain ring.

FusionChefGeoff · 04/12/2022 00:12

He's just caught me under the duvet with my phone and a bit of wool GrinGrin. He's too sleepy to really remember (I hope) just turned over with a muffled 'what are you doing'...!!

So now I need to know if it's easier to make a ring bigger or smaller to know which way to go.. off to Google!

FettleOfKish · 04/12/2022 00:13

Easier to make it smaller OP! Making a small ring bigger stretches a finite amount of metal thinner, making it smaller involves removing metal.

FusionChefGeoff · 04/12/2022 00:44

Right - it's done! Gone for a Y and have time to rerun and get another if it looks way too big / small

It's all fun and games until you're constantly having to pass him Pringles because he can't get his hand in the tube Grin
