Late benefits?

Wasn't sure the best place to post this so I went for chat, hope that's okay.

I get PIP, paid on a Monday but because I've got a Monzo account it normally hits my account on a Friday. This has always happened for the three years I've been getting the benefit. However this month it's not appeared.

When I phone the helpline I get the automated woman saying the amount and the date (which is Monday) so I'm not worried it's been cancelled or anything, but I just wondered if anyone else has their received benefits late lately?

PIP is paid four weekly not monthly. Just in case that makes a difference to when you are expecting it.

Thanks for pointing that out @Babyroobs, sorry that was just a slip of the tongue/thumb- I'm in no doubt that Monday is my date it's due (and the automated message on the phone line when I put in my details corroborates that) it's just that it usually shows up in my Monzo on the Friday and this is the first time it hasn't.

I have just read on another forum that someone else has not been paid their PIP and they were asking the same question so maybe is a systems problem?

Thanks @Babyroobs - still no sign of it. We shall see what happens tomorrow.

I've seen loads of posts about this on Facebook on the Monzo fb group and the DWP benefits group so as PP said, I'm wondering if it's a system wide problem?
