If yes, if you click settings/apps/show system apps & scroll down to 'phone' how many green phone logos do you see? I have 3 in a row, is this normal?

I have 5

But I am dual sim, which is probably something to do with it.

Mines exactly the same as @RiderOfTheBlue

Hidingawaytoday · 03/12/2022 19:59

I only have 1

Ramble0n · 03/12/2022 19:59

Just 1

Just one here too.

4, and one similar images under calls too.

My phone is a bit messy tho, as it wasn't bought in the UK, and the SIM also thinks I live on a third continent (which I did for a bit).

I have one sim. I'm wondering about it because what do they each do? I have a glitch in that every time I switch my phone on I get a voicemail notification but there never is a voicemail. So I have to go to the 1st phone app and click 'force stop' and that erases the voicemail.

Just 1. S22+

It makes sense, it's just different software connected to each other for handling actual phone calls. They are system apps: the calls, the call provider, the connection between your sim/number and your contacts files (which are part of your Google or Samsung cloud storage depending on which you've chosen as default). The apps you see are files essentially that are the links between hardware-firmware- software.

Just one but I used to have the exact same problem with my last Samsung. I always seemed to have a voicemail and couldn't easily get rid of it. I can't be much help as I never figured it out but it's not been an issue on my new Samsung.
