So this is a thing in France (where we live). It’s a social event where cousins - not aunts/ uncles - get together, for a meal / drink etc.
on one side, my cousins have emigrated to Australia. On the other, we have nothing in common so have never meet up socially except when forced to at weddings, funerals etc.
i was at a party last night and one of my friends was talking about what food he’s going to make for his ‘cousinade’, this weekend: the annual reunion of all his cousins.
