3 weeks til Christmas eve - what you up to?

I love these threads and I know that it's early in the day, but I wanted to make sure there was one!

What you lovely lot up today?

Im taking my son to santa today and then we may put up the Christmas tree 🎄

Just taken DDog for his morning walk, making bacon butties to eat back in bed. Taking DD to gym later and her dad will collect her, take her to his.
I May watch the local rugby team later, but far more likely I will go back to bed ahead of a night out at Bingo Lingo with the girls 🎄🎶💃

Still recovering from flu DM is taking my DS out on the Santa train later this morning until early evening, DH is going doing his Christmas shopping. So I'm going to just relax and see what the day brings. I have a stack of cards to write so might make a start on those at some point.

This weekend we're having a pre Christmas trip to the tip 😆.
And a less exciting mega house tidy.

We are putting our living room back together after redecorating and the boiler has stopped working. Whilst we've been doing without heating to save money not having hot water is a PIA. The immersion plug sparks 🙈. Letting DH sort all that!

We possibly have 10 in the house for Christmas this year, but 5 definitely won't come if there is any hint of illness. So basically a mega tidy of upstairs that might not be necessary!

Our DC consist of preteen and teen, so no Santa for us. We did the panto last week which we all adore.

Also off to town for a secret Santa shopping trip. And to get presents for godchildren.

Suddenly remembered that Christmas cards are 'a thing' and I need to send some to very elderly relatives.

Basically I'm very disorganized this year! 😇

Ds1 has gone to work. Ds2 is at a friend's house.

I am going to run 10km with my black lab, dh is going to work for a bit.

Then need to do the food shop.

But later DH and I are getting gussied up and going to a wedding reception which will be lovely and Christmassy I expect 🎄

I’d like to put up the rest of the decorations today and make (and eat) mince pies.
Need some bits from the shops and hopefully combine it with a walk in the fresh air to kill off my headache

Christmas decorations are all up, this morning I'm charging batteries for all the ones that battery operated lights. Have to wait in for the postie to deliver parts dh needs for work, he's playing in a charity golf competition this morning.
This afternoon we're popping over to ikea to pick up a click and collect ( to avoid the temptation of getting sucked in there for ages and buying stuff we don't need).
Picking up: kids desk chair, desk mat protector and picture frame (for etsy print) christmas gifts for dgd from her parents who are stuck in with covid this weekend. And a couple of ribba picture frames for 2 lovely prints dh bought me for my birthday that I'd really like hung.
After that pop to my mums to walk her dog, she's also not well with a cold bug.
Then back home. I've had a week holiday and gave the house a thorough top to toe before putting the decorations up so there's nothing to do there, all looking and smelling festive, and all food shopping done for ourselves and family stuck in with illness yesterday so I'll probably enjoy it and watch a christmas film while stew is cooking. Later on I'll drop a plate of food off for mum and walk her dog again.
