Yep. Just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now. Been in bed for 3 days. Had the worst cough ever. Hope you feel better soon 💕

I had it probably 5 weeks ago. Way worse than COVID. I still have a cough. Everyone I know has been the same lately.

DC had it first a couple of weeks ago. Then this time last week DH got it and he’s just about over it now. He’s been bloody awful - full of snot and like a zombie. I now feel like I have a slight cold but he’s warning me that that’s how his started so I’m just waiting for it 😩

Dd came home coughing and sneezing last Thursday (so 8 days ago). I told dh that we would all be ill and we were. Like pp we're now at the tail end but still cancelled plans for dh's birthday tomorrow as we just don't have the energy. Dh is pissed off as he was on leave this week so to him it's been a waste.
I've had covid twice before (this wasn't) but I felt so much rougher with this cold. Sorry for TMI but what I was coughing up was very green and brown. 😷

Yes. My first cold for three years and it's a beaut! On day four and getting worse. So unbelievably congested and achey, irritable and depressed. Hoping I turn a corner tomorrow. Get well soon everyone. 💐

I'm going on three weeks of being ill with it. It's bloody awful. Not Covid but I didn't feel as bad when I had it!

Pharmacy recommended that I head to the walk in if I'm not feeling better tomorrow.

We've got 130 students off sick at school (only 500 students total) and have had to mix classes due to staff sickness. The yr11s are limping in for mocks but at least a third of them should be at home.

Two have been to hospital (underlying issues) and swabbed positive for influenza.

It's run through DDs school. She was off yesterday but reckons a third were off in each class

I had a cold last week, made me feel pretty crappy. It's now gone to my chest so I'm constantly coughing up phlegm, how lovely. I've got muscle aches to boot so living on ibuprofen at the moment.

yes!! And I am still coughing nearly five weeks later, I have never known a cold like it, I recovered from Covid faster than this.

I have it. I'm lying in bed now but I can hear the kids downstairs and know i need to get up. Argh. I feel like I'm dying.

Has anyone else had dizziness with it?

It’s horrendous. 2 year old picked it up at nursery. Half the kids have been off. Once he got better it hit me. Must have gone through 4 packs of tissues yesterday!
