Looking for a good place to go tomorrow, in London, late afternoon for cocktails and food.

Would appreciate any advice or recommendations. I know it's short notice.

Skylon, OXO Tower or Aqua Shard. But if you manage to get a table on a Saturday with less than a day’s notice I’d also buy a lottery ticket as you will clearly be the luckiest person alive 😉

The Ivy, Covent Garden. But agree with previous poster about lack of availability

They will let you in for drinks at Sushi Samba I think but it'll be booked out for food I reckon. Nice for cocktails though. Lots of bars around Liverpool St/Shoreditch/Brick Lane. Some nice hotel bars/restaurants too. Bermondsey St also has Flour and Grape - cosy cocktail bar underneath. Doesn't take bookings so you'd have to arrive early. Quite a few restaurants along there.

Cocktail bar is called 214.

There is also (if it's still there) Sexy Fish, Mayfair or Bob Bob Ricard - both glam but £££.

Google Charlotte St Restaurants. Off Tottenham Ct Rd. We’ve been to Roka, Vagabond and Six by Nico. All great. There are loads!
