30th birthday suggestions/ideas

I'm 30 at the end of the month and DH has been asking me for months what I would like for a present or is there anything I'd like to do.

I honestly have no idea what I'd like and have no inspiration!

What did you all get for your 30th or what did you do for your 30th?

We have had a very difficult 18 months with a lot of unexpected health problems so I do feel I should recognise the birthday and start a new chapter etc

What about a nice piece of jewellery? Or a fancy handbag? What are you in to?

I'm celebrating mine next year.
How about Handbag, Spa break, Nice Meal out, Perfume?

For my 30th DH bought me a new coat and we had a hilarious night out with friends at a local bar! I have a vague memory of way too much tequila!

But I do think it depends on you. Do you like weekends away? Shopping? Fancy meals out? Theatre trips? Would you be interested in taking a class in something? Golf, cooking, knitting, car maintenance!?

Have you got a hankering for something luxurious? I still have a proper cashmere dressing gown, full length, on my wish list for when DH and I have the money. Silk scarves, fancy perfume, cashmere blanket etc.

A subscription to your favourite magazine, a flower service, coffee, wine etc?

I had a barbecue, beers and bouncy castle in the back garden for mine Excellent day, made a day of it with friends & family, some stayed the whole day and some just there for bits so it wasn't too overwhelming. But my birthday is in the summer so may not work for you!
