London at Christmas

Planning a trip to London a week before Christmas with two DC age 4 and 7. This will be their first trip to London so they want to see the sights and Christmas lights. What else would you recommend for a 2 night stay? Places to eat- would we need to pre-book tables?

I always took my 2 to the natural history museum, London does get very very busy. I think we just ended up in McDonald's for lunch. Does the place you are staying do meals? This is what we did then headed back out to see the lights. For my 2 the museum and lights was more than enough oh and we went to Hamley's.

Regents park is lovely for a walk and hot chocolate to. I adore London at Christmas. Have fun.
