Where can I find these cloths/dusters?

Apologies for the most boring thread topic.

I have two cloths that I use for cleaning (I actually have about 70) but two that I actually like - the pink one in the photo and a green one of the same material. They are the only ones that don't leave smears/fluff on the mirrors. They are just such a nice effective material that nothing else compares. I have had them for years and I don't remember where from.

I've bought endless "microfibre" cleaning cloths and dusters but I just don't rate them. The fluffy ones seem to leave bits on my mirrors and they just don't pick up the dust like these two do.

Anyone else have favourite cleaning cloths...Or has cloths like these and can point me in the right direction?

Thanks. 😁

Have you tried Lakeland? They seem to have every cleaning material known to man....

WalkingInTheAir13 · 01/12/2022 22:43

The genuine and original E-cloths.
The various imitation versions of micro fibre cloths are nowhere as near as good.

I second a search on Lakeland too.

E cloth glass cloths or old fashioned linen scrim cloths are the only thing that leave glass smear free. A cotton or linen tea towel (not towelling) will also work.

Thanks both. I have had a look on there and can't see anything which looks as though it would feel the same but maybe I should give another brand a try as I may be looking for something which no longer exists. Grin

I've got a blue one the same as your pink one and I agree that it is best ever cloth (until DH used it to clean up after changing the oil in his car 😡😡)

That makes me feel better! Not that he used it, just that someone else understands.
Do you remember where you had it from?

I've had it so long I agree it might be an original Ecloth. I loved it so much but since I'm a cheapskate, I'll have bought cheapest knock off to replace it and been disappointed

BruceAndNosh · 02/12/2022 09:56

I think it may have been the Glass 2 pack as there is a smooth one the same colour

BruceAndNosh · 02/12/2022 10:38

The smooth matching blue one is definitely an ecloth, it's got the brand on it

Baconand · 02/12/2022 10:46

We had those, I’m sure they were ecloth window. You got one smooth and one textured. The newer ones are a different texture although we find them good still.

I had these, they came in a pack of 4 maybe 5 different microfibre clothes from Poundland a few years ago, I have a pink and blue the same as yours and they are brilliant. Haven't seen them in the shops for ages though.

Could it be these? www.poundland.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=microfibre

TwoMonthsOff · 02/12/2022 21:55

@chillinwithmygnomies same here ! Yellow, blue, green, pink and orange a couple of mine are still under the sink unused - definitely £land from back in the day

yellowjane · 03/12/2022 07:33

@Baconand

They look the closest thing I have seen! Xmas Grin

I've got a blue one like your oink one too @yellowjane. It's at least 5 years old. I think I might have got it from Lakeland, or maybe Kleeezee.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 03/12/2022 07:57

These look similar from Kleeneze.

yellowjane · 03/12/2022 14:45

Thanks everyone. Some of these look very similar but I'm worried they still won't be quite the right material like other previous purchases!

uk.e-cloth.com/

Try their site. I'm scared to talk about e cloths. After I innocently mentioned my ancient ones a poster went full on loco at me for poisoning oceans with plastic. Honestly she pursued me relentlessly.
