Very vague and may have misremembered details. Looking for a Christmas film, I think it was maybe a princess who didn’t know she was a princess and had to go and live in a different country.
The main part I remember was there was a nice part of the town and somewhere over the tracks where the townspeople lived in poverty. There was something about collecting presents at the palace gatehouse in secret for the poor kids.
