After 4 months of heavy, painful and frequent periods, and very painful ovulation, I had an ultrasound of my pelvis. Today the GP told me I have kissing ovaries, which means that my ovaries are touching each other beind my uterus, in the pouch of Douglas.
After some Googling, it appears that having kissing ovaries is a strong indicator for endometriosis. I have't been diagnosed with this, but after some more Googling, I do have quite a few of the symptoms.
I can't find anything online about what kissing ovaries might mean for my pain, fertility or what treatment options might be. Does anyone else have kissing ovaries, and do you also have endo?
