It looks normal to me.

And it is normal for it to thin pug out in mid life (if it did used to be thicker). If you think there’s been a dramatic change ask your GP to do a blood test. This isn’t most GP’s strong point so do some research first.. but it certainly doesn’t appear you have any major problem right now.

looks like normal hair to me

Twoshoesnewshoes · 01/12/2022 19:14

Looks fairly normal, it is usual to lose hair around the temple as we get older.
however, I had this and it worried me, so I now use my DPs Regaine, and the hair is growing back quite well.

I have same, it’s just thin hair. I use nioxin mousse. Thickens it up

Pinkspottyumbrella · 01/12/2022 20:07

thanks for your advice
It used to be so thick I hated it so thick now I miss it

my serum ferritin level is low
and I’m on iron medication

I might ask if I can get my b vitamins checked
But my gp isn’t very good

Get anaemia regularly and my hair falls out. Once my iron is just back up it stops and thickens up. Do you have cracks at the side of your mouth too? That is a sign of anemia

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 01/12/2022 21:02

Looks normal.

SirVixofVixHall · 01/12/2022 21:04

I agree it just looks like normal hair. Everyone’s hair is finer at the temples, yours looks on the thicker side there to me.

jackstini · 01/12/2022 21:05

Looks normal

Do you put your hair up a lot though? Ponytail etc.
If so, stop for a while if you can as it can make it worse

I had Covid (again) in mid July, I've lost so much hair in the last few months and it's only just slowing, iron panel is all over the shop too with double normal ferritin and misshapen RBC.

Same happened to my DD and several friends.
