Lunch in or near Chepstow

I'm taking my uncle out to lunch there but don't know the area. Does anyone know of a good restaurant or excellent gastro-type pub? Thanks in advance! x

The Tudor Farmhouse in Clearwell (picturesque village nearby)
The Globe in Alvington (nice pub known locally for food)
Hanley Farm shop cafe for more casual food and nice farm shop, also florist
The Wild Hare in Tintern

There are two lovely Italians in town (panivino and Una vita)
A chain type pub just outside is quite nice and recently had a refurb.
Countless coffee shops in the high street. The garden centre is lovely too 😊
