What to text back after parents RSVP for their child?

I should know how to do this however I get anxious but I need to do this stuff for my kid to have their own good life, ya know.

So after a parent replies their kid is excited and will be coming to the party, how should I reply. I don't want to just leave it unanswered.

Thank you so much!

Just a thumbs up? How childish.

Eh? Why is a thumbs up childish?

Don't do a thumb's up, they've taken the time to send a message so you should too.

"So pleased you/child can make it. Looking forward to seeing you/child" (depending on whether you're expecting parents to come as well).

Great, ds will be pleased! Here's his gift list, let me know what item(s) you'll be buying and I'll tick off the list, or hard cash is ok to if it saves you shopping. 👍🏼

🤣🤣🤣 This: only if you want to be the talk of the playground and have no-one ever accept an invitation again!
