This year feel like just have no idea what to get family or friends.

Well adults I thought just giving bottles of Alcohol and Children gift card.

But on a tight budget too so clueless what to get.

I am probably morel concentrating on my teen but have even told him do a list but you may only get a few as his birthday January.

What's everyone doing regarding presents this year? Especially with this cost of living.

We all gave up buying for adults in the extended family years ago, only buying for children whilst they are in education.
Exception is our own 2 sons who are getting half the amount spent on them this year as they both now have jobs.

Same ^^ only give to under 18s (only one left in the family now Smile) and our own DS ... who only wants cash. Great relief all round. Still have a wonderful Christmas but without the angst of choosing gifts.
I manage a charity shop and so many people are coming in this year and saying things like 'we are just doing a charity shop Christmas this year' ... it's great fun and my sales are booming.

I’ve really ramped down gifts for adults this year - just token gifts for each person like nice slipper socks or a tiny beauty set.

Next year I will brave a text saying I’m only doing gifts for children!

@Iwritethissittinginthekitchensink

Think may do the same as you this year then next year maybe say only children.

I always get my mum though. Actually hardly get family anyway.

Just for me it's tight as baby due next year.

You can do family Secret Santa for the adults and agree on everyone getting a token gift (handmade Christmas ornaments, custom photo calendars, gift cards, etc) If you are going to see each other at the joined celebration, you can make a video greeting card that would mention everyone and give out personalized wishes depending on everyone's interests.
