How dodgy is it to drive after a strong joint of marijuana?

I walked past this guy today, I had to hold my breath, the stink was horrendous. He was smoking weed but it was very pungent. He then got in his car & drove off. I'd imagine this is dodgy? But I've never smoked myself so I've no idea. Is it bad?

Very. Cannabis slows your ability to react to situations which is obviously a risk when driving.
It's illegal and police carry out drug swipe testing for cannabis and cocaine as part of the roadside impairment test.

Unfortunately many people that smoke cannabis disagree and think they're fine that why you often smell it coming from cars

It's illegal as been said but I don't think you can tell the strength of it and therefor how high they were by how much it stank... happy to be corrected though. There is also tolerance threshold.

It's illegal. I hate cannabis. I hate how it's portrayed as some innocent herb and therefore fine. I hate how many people want it legalised. It was so common in my sixth form and so many of the kids I grew up with who were so clever are now inept adults as all their brain cells have been fried off.
