Scented Candles/Wax Melts & Pets

Hi, does anyone have experience of their pets having a cough/vomiting after using a scented candle or wax melt? Thanks in advance for any replies.

It's pretty common. In some animals like birds they are very toxic and lethal. Personally I haven't had that issue but my rooms are fairly open plan and decent sized so I suspect room volume plays a factor.

If its made using soy wax and/or essential oils, yes. Some essential oils are toxic to animals. Fragrance oils are generally ok, but like humans, pets can have allergies to certain substances.
