Job interview test stress

I had an hour of technical assessment yesterday for a job I’m really keen on. They said it would be marked today. I haven’t heard anything. (I know it’s not even been a full day yet but they said I would get the results in the morning). Would you assume this means it’s been marked and I’ve failed? And they just haven’t let me know yet?

Maybe something has come up and they are still marking. Maybe they have marked them and are waiting for their first choice to come back to them before they let others know they haven't got the job. Maybe they've got a staff member off sick. Who knows. You'll just have to wait it out. Good luck!

Would you send an email yet or wait it out longer? I’m not good at waiting. Don’t want to totally ruin any chance I had by being pegged as the lady who won’t take a hint though

Definitely wouldn't email this early. Give it a few days at least.
