I feel judged!

We just got a video doorbell thingy. DP put it on charge on the kitchen counter and I downloaded the app and set it all up.

It's very cold in the house and I'm tired and a bit hormonal. I keep wandering into the kitchen and browsing the fridge. Every time I do I get picked up by the charging doorbell. Which notifies my phone 'human alert!'

I feel so judged!

I should point out that every alert comes with a short clip of me gazing wistfully into the fridge. I'm sure DP will laugh his arse off when he gets home and checks the base unit!

Your doorbell sounds like an arse! LTB and eat the fridge contents! 😆

LOL!! Tell it that it's a bad idea to annoy the person who supplies its lifesource and it won't continue to be charged if it misbehaves!

I mean it might work well as a dieting aid. You can pre-programme it with 3 set phrases. I could mount it to the fridge and have it cycle through
"A moment on the lips. A lifetime on the hips"
"Again? Really? Are you sure you're not just thirsty?"
And
"Don't you have a party to attend in 3 weeks?"

Have Argos got your order wrong and given you a calorie counter instead??

I think my waistline needs one of these!!

I've put it in the naughty corner facing the wall now!

I mean... I could use it to see whether the kids are raiding the snack drawer...
