45 colleagues to buy for, all junior to me, aged 25-45, 50:50 m:f split. I have £3 left from the budget (I’ve already bought festive socks for everyone)was thinking a festive chocolate box (£1), bath bomb (£1) and something else? Or could replace the choc and bath bomb with one £3 thing. Need to have it wrapped up by the weekend. Suggestions please?

Could a lottery ticket create tension if someone won a significant amount? 🤔

Definitely nice chocolate. For full festive feeling, one of those oversize chocolate gold coins or a gold foil-wrapped chocolate penguin/Father Christmas/snowman/whatever. I think I’d ideally want one £3 nice ethical chocolate item than some cheap slave chocolate and a lotto ticket.

Mugs, baubles, bath bombs, hand cream, etc, at those price points are tat destined for the bin and an environmental crime.

You've already bought socks. No more. I never wear socks so they'd be straight to the charity shop.

I'd hate to receive bath bombs or lottery tickets. Probably wise to steer clear of alcohol and anything that will clutter up the place last like mugs.

Some really nice chocolate would work for the majority and the rest must have someone they could give it to, specially if you can find something 'gifty' - a quality chocolate Santa or wrapped as a cracker, or even quality coins would be best. Any fancy chocolate shops near you? Or a small packet of quality fruit jellies might be acceptable. Or glacé fruits should you be able to find some.

I'd go for the Tonys chocoloney
That and socks are a nice gift
Better than a couple of cheap things just to make up a total
