I had to go to have staples out of my back today after surgery. I took a new bottle of oromorph with me to take before the procedure and for coming home because my would it be sore sitting in a car for 40 minutes. I'm 13 days post surgery.
We stopped at a cafe on the way home. My bag is small and I took the bottle out to get my purse to pay for food. I'm sure I put it back and I thought I checked where we were sitting before I left.
I've just gone to my bag now and it's not there. I've searched everywhere I can think of. Ivd texted friend who took me there and back no sign of it in his car. I've called the cafe, it's not been handed in. It's in a box with my prescription details on it.
I'm worried, for me and for someone who may find it. Do I need to report it? Will my doctor replace it? (It was only issued on Friday) I still need it first thing in the morning for breakthrough pain. But also do I need to report it to police because it's a controlled drug? (I'm assuming it is?)
I'm v anxious about it and getting no answers on Google.
